The Arctic is filled with interesting wildlife. Here is a collection of 37 Arctic animals, many unique to the region. Whales, seals, walrus, birds, mammals, and insects can be folded to make Arctic scenes. Models include a blue whale, snow goose, puffin, snow bunting, wolverine, polar bear, musk ox, and a hungry mosquito. Color-change models are found throughout this work, including the walrus with white tusks.

The models are masterpieces designed by origami master John Montroll. Each model is shown with a photograph of the folded work and a brief description. Through elegant design methods, the complex models are folded in fewer steps than usual. The simplicity in complexity adds a life-force to the models and a more enjoyable folding experience.
